Alphabet Comix
Only 25 More Letters to Go …
I got the idea one Saturday night sitting at the drawing table about 2 a.m., while listening to KMHD jazz radio, in Portland, Oregon: simply draw 26 one-page comics, each leveraging the possibilities of a different letter of the alphabet. I started with the letter “C.” In about two hours, I had conceived of the “subjects” that started with that letter, penciled, then inked them into this cartoon. Now all I have to do is every year on the same day stay up until 2 a.m. and get motivated to do another rendition of Alphabet Comix. I figure that by 2035 I will have the whole set finished. Then, all I have to do is sell the completed panels as a book, have the rights to said book sold to Hollywood, let them make a blockbuster out of it, and sit back and collect royalty checks. I should be a millionaire by the time I’m 99 years old. In the meantime:
